Ted Celeste (b. September 27, 1945) is a former Democratic member of the Ohio House of Representatives, representing District 24 from 2007 to 2013. Celeste was a candidate for the United States Senate in 2000, and for the United States House of Representatives in 2012.

Celeste's professional experience includes president of the National Housing Corporation in Cleveland; campaign comptroller; president of New Town Housing; Ohio campaign director and regional coordinator for Carter for President; assistant to finance director for The Ohio State University; bureau chief for Ohio State Department of Public Welfare; teacher for the Peace Corps in Fiji; and realtor.

Celeste earned a B.A. in Psychology from the College of Wooster. He and his wife, Bobbie, have two children, Christiana and Liz.[1]
