Teo E. Zagar is a Democratic member of the Vermont House of Representatives, representing Windsor 4-1. He was first appointed to the chamber on July 20, 2011. He was appointed in 2011 after Mark Mitchell resigned due to illness.[1]


Zagar was born in the Yugoslav Republic of Slovenia but immigrated to the United States in 1985. He graduated from Woodstock High School and Hampshire College. Zagar has worked as a documentary filmmaker and currently works as a special education program assistant for Woodstock High School.[1]

Elections for the office of Vermont House of Representatives will take place in 2014. A primary election took place August 26, 2014. The general election will be held on November 4, 2014. The signature-filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was June 12, 2014. Incumbent Teo Zagar was unopposed in the Democratic primary. Scott Woodward was unopposed in the Republican primary.[2][3][4][5] After facing no challenge in the Democratic primary, Zagar will go on to the general election to face off with Woodward for the district's single seat.[6]
