Teo Zagar is a Democratic member of the Vermont House of Representatives, representing Windsor 4-1. He was first appointed to the chamber on July 20, 2011. He previously represented Windsor 6-1 from July 2011 to 2013. He was first appointed in 2011 after Mark Mitchell resigned due to illness.[1]


Zagar was born in the Yugoslav Republic of Slovenia but immigrated to the United States in 1985. He graduated from Woodstock High School and Hampshire College. Zagar has worked as a documentary filmmaker and currently works as a special education program assistant for Woodstock High School.[1]

Zagar won re-election in the 2012 election for Vermont House of Representatives Windsor 4-1. Zagar was unopposed in the August 28 Democratic primary and was unopposed in the general election which took place on November 6, 2012.[2][3]
