Teresa Sayward is a former Republican member of the New York State Assembly, representing District 113 from 2003 to 2013. Sayward was the secretary of the minority conference for the New York State Assembly. Her other political experiences are supervisor for the Town of Willsboro and chairwoman of Essex County Board of Supervisors Legislative Committee.

Sayward is the owner of Holstein Cattle Dairy Farm in Willsboro. Her professional experiences include realtor for Essex County; interior decorator; and sales for a local antiques establishment. She and her husband, Kenneth, have four children.[1]
