Tess Taylor (b. April 28, 1958) is a Democratic member of the Vermont House of Representatives, representing Washington-3. She was first elected to the chamber in 2008. She currently serving as House Assistant Majority Leader, and has been in that role since 2013.

Biography

Taylor earned her BA in Business Administration from St. Michael's College in 1980.

Taylor has worked as the Executive Director of the Pine Street Arts & Business Association. From 2001 to 2003, she was the Executive Director of Studio Place Arts. She has worked for Vermont Granite Museum as the General Manager since 2003.

She is currently a member of the Spaulding School Board.

Taylor won re-election in the 2012 election for Vermont House of Representatives Washington 3. Taylor was unopposed in the August 28 Democratic primary and won re-election in the general election which took place on November 6, 2012.[1][2]
