Thaddeus Jones (b. August 24, 1970) is a Democratic member of the Illinois House of Representatives, representing District 29. He was first elected to the chamber in 2010.

Biography

Jones earned his B.S. in Criminal Justice from Loyola University. His professional experience includes working as President and CEO of Time Entertainment, Inc.[1][2]

The signature-filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was December 2, 2013. Incumbent Thaddeus Jones defeated Kenneth "Kenny" Williams in the Democratic primary and will face Harold Ward (I) in the general election. Rene Chandler (D) withdrew from the race on December 27, 2013.[3][4][5]
