He is running unopposed in the Republican primary on September 13, 2012; he is also running on the Independence Party of New York State ticket. William J. McCarthy, Jr.; Margarita Perez; Patricia Fahy (who is also running on the Working Families Party and Independence Party of New York State tickets); Frank J. Commisso, Jr.; Christopher T. Higgins; and Jim Coyne are running in the Democratic primary. Joseph P. Sullivan is running unopposed in the Conservative Party primary. The general election takes place on November 6, 2012. [1]
