Theodore Liddell was a 2013 Republican candidate for District 4 of the New Jersey General Assembly.[1]

Biography

Liddell graduated from the United States Military Academy Preparatory School at Fort Monmouth in 1986. He earned his B.S. in Individual Psychology from the United States Military Academy at West Point in 1990, his M.B.A. from Columbia College in 2002 and his J.D. from St. Louis University, School of Law, in 2006.

Liddell's professional experience includes working as an attorney and as a former Healthcare Sales Representative for Johnson & Johnson Incorporated, Merck & Company Incorporated, Novo Nordick Incorporated and Pfizer, Incorporated. Liddell served as a Captain in the U.S. Army for six years.[2]

  • Excerpt: "As family men, we know the everyday struggles of going to work daily and supporting our families. Everywhere we go, people tell us about choosing between paying their mortgage or paying their taxes, food, fuel, electricity or water bills. College students complain about obtaining a good education but, not being able to find jobs. Elderly citizens are stressed about healthcare and not able to afford their vital medications. Teachers are distracted and suffering because they are working without contracts which causes day-to-day uncertainty about their employment. Moreover, our children are in need of a stable education system with enhanced curriculums, fully functioning buildings, and better accountability of school funding."

Liddell ran in the 2013 election for New Jersey General Assembly District 4. Liddell was unopposed in the June 4 Republican primary. He was defeated by incumbent Paul D. Moriarty (D) and incumbent Gabriela M. Mosquera (D) in the general election which took place on November 5, 2013.[4] [5][6][7]
