Theresa Kormos was a 2012 Republican candidate seeking election to the U.S. House representing the 12th Congressional District of Illinois. Kormos was defeated by Jason Plummer in the Republican primary on March 20, 2012.[1]

Kormos has been a registered nurse for more than 30 years.[2]

Kormos was running in the 2012 election for the U.S. House, representing Illinois' 12th District. Kormos was seeking the nomination on the Republican ticket. [3] The signature filing deadline was December 27, 2011, with the primary taking place on March 20, 2012.

Kormos and candidate Rodger Cook were defeated by Jason Plummer in the Republican primary on March 20, 2012. [1] In the Democratic primary candidate Brad Harriman defeated Kenneth Wiezer and Chris Miller.[1]
