Thomas Kennedy (b. August 15, 1951) is a Democratic member of the Massachusetts State Senate. He has represented Second Plymouth and Bristol district since 2009. Kennedy was a representative with the Massachusetts House of Representatives from 1982-2008. His other political experience includes being chair of the Brockton Ward 2 Democratic Committee since 1978; serving on the Brockton City and Brockton City Ombudsman.

Kennedy earned his Bachelors degree from Stonehill College and his MPA from Harvard University.[1]
