Thomas Watson (b. March 11, 1947) was a Democratic member of the Maine House of Representatives. He represented the 62nd District from 2002 until his resignation on May 3, 2010.

Watson is Owner/Partner of Thomas R. Watson Practicing Attorney. He has previously worked as an Attorney/Partner for Watson & Mann, and McTeague & Higbie, and served in the United States Navy from 1969-1982.

Watson is a member of the Rotary Club, Maine Professional Guides Association, Maine Trial Lawyers Association, Studio Theatre of Bath, Bath Personnel Service Committee, and the Bath Zoning Board of Appeals.[1]


Watson resigned on May 3, 2010. Currently the 62nd district is vacant and remained vacant until the election on November, 2010. If you have questions or concern contact your State Senator for District 19, Senator Seth Goodall.[2]

Michael Clarke (D) and Robert Winglass (R) ran for Watson's vacated seat. Clarke won election in the November 2 general election.


On November 07, 2008, Thomas Watson ran for District 62 of the Maine House of Representatives, beating Donald Rogers. [3]
