|“||THORNAPPLE TOWNSHIP PROPOSALS
THORNAPPLE TOWNSHIP ROAD MILLAGE PROPOSAL Shall the total tax rate limitation on the amount of general ad valorem taxes which may be imposed on taxable real and tangible personal property within Thornapple Township under Article IX, Sec. 6 of the Michigan Constitution be increased by 0.75 mills ($0.75 per $1,000 of taxable value) annually for three (3) years, 2013 through 2015, inclusive, to provide funds for the improvement and maintenance of public roads within the Township, and shall Thornapple Township levy such new additional millage for these purposes? If approved and levied, this millage would raise an estimated $175,650 in the first year of the levy. To the extent required by law, a portion of the revenues from this millage will be captured within the districts of and disbursed to the Village of Middleville Downtown Development Authority and Local Development Finance Authority
