Democrat Tim Melton of Pontiac is the current state representative for the 29th District of the Michigan House of Representatives serving his second term.

Rep. Melton graduated from Oakland Christian High School and then attended and graduated from Oakland University. Tim is married to Patty Melton; they live with two beagles named Senator and Governor.

Previous Offices Held

He served on the Oakland County Board of Commissioners from 1999 until he was elected State Representative in 2006.
