Timothy McGhee is a 2012 Republican candidate in the special election for District 45 of the Virginia House of Delegates.

McGhee was a 2011 Republican candidate for District 30 of the Virginia State Senate.

McGhee has worked in web development, sales, management, event production, facility management, information technology, and database management.

McGhee is running in a special election for Virginia House of Delegates District 45. The seat will be vacant following David Englin's (D) resignation, which will be effective on August 31. The special election will take place September 4, 2012.[1]

McGhee ran in the 2011 election for Virginia Senate District 30. He was uncontested in the August 23 primary and was defeated by Democrat Adam Ebbin in the November 8 general election.[2]
