Timothy Rave (b. July 24, 1967) is a Republican member of the South Dakota House of Representatives, representing District 25. He currently serves as Speaker of the House.

Rave joined the South Dakota State House of Representatives in 2003. He has served in that position since, representing the 25th District. He currently serves as Speaker of the House. Rave has also been a Precinct Committeeman since 2002.

Rave was a Paramedic Supervisor for Rural/Metro Ambulance in 1991. He is currently Operations Manager.

Rave earned an Associates degree from Canby Vocational College in 1987. He went on to receive another Associates degree from Augustana College/McK. Hospital Paramedic Program in 1990. Rave and his wife, Lisa, have two children.

Rave has reached his term limit and is ineligible for re-election to the House. He is running for District 25 in the South Dakota State Senate instead.

Rave defeated incumbent Dan Ahlers (D) in November 2 general election.
