Timothy Wolfe was a 2012 Republican candidate who sought election to the U.S. House representing the 9th Congressional District of Illinois. Wolfe ran unopposed in the Republican primary on March 20, 2012, but was defeated in the general election.[1]

Biography

Wolfe was born in Bloomington, Illinois in 1953. [2] Wolfe went to college at Illinois Wesleyan University receiving a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Business Administration in 1975.[2] Wolfe received a second bachelor’s degree from Illinois State University in 1978 in Accounting. In 2003 Wolfe received a Masters Degree in Taxation from Northern Illinois University. [2]

Wolfe is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a Certified Financial Planner (CFP)[2]

Wolfe lost to incumbent Jan Schakowsky in the 2012 election for the U.S. House, representing Illinois' 9th District. Wolfe ran unopposed in the Republican primary on March 20, 2012. He was defeated by incumbent Jan Schakowsky in the general election on November 6, 2012.[1]
