A Tittabawassee Township Safety Levy Renewal measure was on the August 7, 2012 ballot in the township of Tittabawassee, which is in Saginaw County.

This measure sought to renew the current safety levy which is set at a rate of $1 per $1,000 of assessed value for a further five years in order to continue to pay for fire and police department operational costs in the township. It was approved.

The question on the ballot:

Shall the expired previous voted increase in the tax limitations imposed under Article IX, Sec. 6 of the Michigan Constitution in Tittabawassee Township, of 1.0 mills ($1.00 per $1,000 of taxable value) reduced to .9430 mills ($.9430 per $1,000 of taxable value) by the required millage rollbacks, be renewed at and increased up to the original voted 1.0 mills ($1.00 per $1,000 of taxable value) and levied for five (5) years, 2014 through 2018 inclusive, for general operating purposes for the Police and Fire Departments, raising an estimated $260,365 in the first year the millage is levied.[1][2]
