Ohnstad is running in the 2012 election for Wisconsin State Assembly District 65. He is running against Albert Namath and Dayvin Hallmon in the Democratic primary on August 14, 2012. No Republican has filed to run for this seat. Incumbent Democrat John Steinbrink is running in District 61. The general election takes place on November 6, 2012.[1]
