Ohnstad is running in the 2012 election for Wisconsin State Assembly District 65. He defeated Albert Namath and Dayvin Hallmon in the Democratic primary on August 14, 2012.[1] No Republicans filed to run for this seat. Incumbent Democrat John Steinbrink is running in District 61. The general election takes place on November 6, 2012.[2]
