Tom Burnham is a former Mississippi Superintendent of Education. He served in this position from 2010 to July 2012.[1] Lynn House was appointed interim superintendent following his retirement. On Sept. 25, 2013, the Mississippi Board of Education selected Carey Wright as Burnham's permanent replacement, for a term effective Nov. 1, 2013.
