Tom Chereck is a 2014 Republican candidate for District 11 of the Oregon State Senate.

Chereck was a 2012 Republican candidate for District 22 of the Oregon House of Representatives.

Chereck is a Plant Healthcare Technician at Rasmussen Spray Service. He has also worked as an area service representative for ProGrass and as a spray technician for Nitrolawn. He also worked as a landscaper for the Oregon Womens Correctional Center.[1]

Elections for the office of Oregon State Senate will take place in 2014. A primary election took place May 20, 2014. The general election will take place on November 4, 2014. The signature-filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was March 11, 2014. Incumbent Peter Courtney was unopposed in the Democratic primary. Patricia Milne defeated Tom Chereck, Jr. in the Republican primary. Courtney and Milne will face off in the general election.[2][3]

Chereck ran in the 2012 election for Oregon House District 22. Chereck was defeated by Kathy LeCompte in the Republican primary on May 15. Incumbent Betty Komp (D) ran unopposed in the Democratic primary. The general election took place on November 6, 2012.[4][5]
