Campaign themes

2014

Fox's campaign website listed the following issues:[3]

  • Non Violent Drug Offenders: "We should rethink our punishment of non-violent drug offenders; recognize the need for treatment over incarceration and to minimize the cost of their incarceration on our budget."
  • Immigration: "We need to overhaul and modernize or immigration system to ensure fairness, both in the implementation of our immigration laws and to ensure a sound immigration policy for the benefit of all of us."
  • Reform The Tax Code: "Taxes are an inevitable cost of living in a society. The implementation of taxes needs to be fair and just, allowing for upward mobility and economic growth."
  • War & Peace: "Our country should be prepared to quash any threat to its national security but it should not be misusing its power globally. We should no longer get involved in wars of choice and, when at war, the nation needs to participate in it’s hardships so that the populous stays engaged and doesn’t allow them to linger."
