Tom W. Shaw is a Republican member of the Iowa House of Representatives, representing the 8th District since 2011.

Shaw served 20 years in the U.S. Navy from 1982 to 2002. After retiring from the Navy, he joined the Laurens, IA police department and worked his way up to chief of police by 2006. Shaw holds an A.A. in Criminal Justice.
