Silvers won re-election in the 2012 election for Minnesota House of Representatives District 7B. He was unopposed in the Republican primary on August 7 and was defeated by Erik Simonson (D) in the general election on November 6.[2]

Silvers ran for election to the District 7B Seat in 2010. He had no primary opposition. He was defeated by Kerry Gauthier (DFL) in the general election on November 2, 2010.[3]
