Travis Tranel is a Republican candidate for District 49 of the Wisconsin State Assembly. The primary election was on September 14, 2010 and the general election is on November 2, 2010.

Tranel owns and operates his own dairy farm, Tranel Farms USA, Inc. He is a graduate of Loras College with two degrees in Economics and Finance. [1]

Tranel defeated Republican Dave Kuhle in the primary election. He is opposed by Democratic incumbent Phil Garthwaite in the November 2 general election. [2]
