Travis Tranel is a Republican member of the Wisconsin State Assembly, for District 49.

Tranel owns and operates his own dairy farm, Tranel Farms USA, Inc. He is a graduate of Loras College with two degrees in Economics and Finance. [1]

Tranel defeated Democratic incumbent Phil Garthwaite in the November 2 general election. He defeated Republican Dave Kuhle in the primary election. [2]
