Trent Skaggs (b. June 7, 1973) is a former Democratic member of the Missouri House of Representatives. He represented District 31 from 2003 to 2011.

Skaggs is a Partner with Hospital Management Consulting, Limited Liability Company. He earned his MA in Public Administration from the University of Missouri - Kansas City and BA in Government from Northwest Missouri State University.

Skaggs is a member of Concerned Care, First Baptist Church of North Kansas City, North Kansas City Breakfast Club, North Kansas City Business Council, Northland Chamber, and Young Friends of the Northland. He is married and has 2 children.[1]
