Trey Radel is a 2012 Republican candidate seeking election to the U.S. House representing the 19th Congressional District of Florida. Radel won the Republican nomination in the primary on August 14, 2012.[1]

Career

Most recently, Radel hosted one of Florida’s Conservative TV & Radio Talk Shows – Daybreak, on TV-6 & 92.5 Fox News.[2] Outside of radio, Radel ran Trey Communications LLC, a Media Relations company.[2] Before the TV & radio show, Radel served southwest Florida as a journalist, working as both an anchor and as a reporter.[2]

Radel is running in the 2012 election for the U.S. House, representing Florida's 19th District. Radel won the nomination on the Republican ticket.[3] Candidates wishing to run must file by the signature filing deadline of June 8, 2012. The primary elections were held on August 14, 2012. Radel won the nomination in the Republican primary on August 14, 2012.[1]

Radel and his wife had their first child, a boy, Jude, in December 2011.[2]
