Tripp Godsey was a 2011 Republican candidate for District 21 of the Virginia State Senate.

Godsey earned his BA in Public Administration from Elon College. He works as a Farmers Insurance and Financial Services agent/owner.

Godsey ran in the 2011 election for Virginia Senate District 21. He was defeated by David Nutter in the primary on August 23, 2011. The general election took place on November 8, 2011.[1][2]
