Troy Mader is a Republican member of the Wyoming House of Representatives, representing District 52. He was first appointed in February 11, 2014, by the Campbell County Commission. Mader was appointed to replace the late Sue Wallis. Wallis passed away January 28, 2014.[1][2]

Biography

Mader served as a precinct representative for the Campbell County Republican Party. He was the sheriff's deputy, a writer, and a musician. Mader is a rancher and a researcher.[1][2]

Elections for the office of Wyoming House of Representatives took place in 2014. A primary election took place on August 19, 2014. The general election was held on November 4, 2014. The signature-filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was May 30, 2014. William Pownall defeated incumbent Troy Mader in the Republican primary. Pownall was unchallenged in the general election.[4][5]

Personal

Mader and his wife, Cindy, have eight children. Mader wrote a book, The Death Sentence of AIDS, and has produced two albums of music. Mader's brother, Kelly, served as a state senator in the early 1990s.[2][6][7]
