Today's TMJ 4 John and Marge Jacoby from Madison, both 40 years-old, went online earlier this month on the Wisconsin SVRS to verify their voter registrations, and they couldn't, but after some investigating the two voters found out they had no birth date listed and they were incorrectly listed as deceased.[1]

Explanation

City Clerk Maribeth Witzel-Behl, contacted later, explained that computer access to the registration list requires the date of birth, even though people like the Jacobys who registered years ago weren't required to give that information. Although they were unable to verify her registration, they were still registered and could have voted.[1]
