Tyler August is a Republican candidate for District 32 of the Wisconsin State Assembly. He was first elected in 2010, and served as Chief of Staff for Thomas Lothian, the former representative for District 32 who did not seek reelection in 2010.

August graduated from Big Foot High School and attended the University of Wisconsin - Madison and the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire.

August was elected to District 32. He is opposed by Democrat Doug Harrod and Independent Daniel Kilkenny in the November 2 general election.August defeated his opponents in the primary election: Adam Gibbs, John Finley, Dan Necci, Mel Nieuwenhuis, and Thomas Stelling. After a recount concluded September 25, 2010, August was declared the winner by 3 votes.[1]. [2]
