2012 U.S. House Elections

Voters in Vermont will elect one member to the U.S. Senate in the November 6, 2012 elections.

The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run was June 14, 2012. The primary elections will be held on August 28, 2012.

The election will fill the Class 1 Senate seat, which is currently held by Bernie Sanders (I). First elected in 1974, Sanders is running for re-election in 2012. Sanders caucuses with the Democrats but is officially an Independent.
