Hi! My name is Bailey Ludlam and I am the associate editor for Ballotpedia.
Additionally, I work closely with content relating to statewide and local ballot measures and the laws governing them. In 2011, I also helped roll out the State Executive Officials project which features profiles and election coverage on governors, lt. governors, attorneys general, secretaries of state and much more.
Having experienced and worked in the world of not only politics but also media I understand the sheer importance of reliable, detailed and easily accessible information. Ballot wording, petitions, different types of ballot measures, not to mention the elections themselves can be very confusing. My years of experience in Washington, D.C., California and now in Chicago have shown me first hand exactly how messy politics and elections can get.
Typically voters have three main sources of information: their local ballot guide, campaigns and last minute media reports. Here at Ballotpedia we strive to provide our readers the nitty gritty details about the ballot measures and state officials as they become available.
Make sure to check back daily for new and exciting information on ballot measures. Thanks for expanding and/or visiting our site!
If you have any questions, suggestions, news tips or if there's anything I can help you with feel free to send me a message...
