Utah House Bill 44 is a 2010 Utah law which clarifies how certain terms in Utah's initiative laws are defined. Under the definitions, a vote "for" a referendum will be a vote in favor of the law's taking effect and a vote "against" will a vote in favor of rejecting the law.[1][2]
