V. Susan Sosnowski (b. December 20, 1955) has been a Democratic member of the Rhode Island State Senate. Sosnowski joined the Rhode Island State Senate in 1996. She has served in that position since, representing the 37th district.

Sosnowski worked in Retail Sales for Flemings Department Store from 1980 to 1984. She then worked as a sod harvester for Green Valley Turf Farm from 1984 to 1988. She also worked as a manager/supervisor for Laurel Brook Farm from 1984 to 1990. She has been Co-owner/operator of Sosnowski Farms since 1984.

Sosnowski received her diploma from Chariho Regional High School in 1973. She went on to receive attend the University of Rhode Island, the Community College of Rhode Island, and Ocean State Business Institue in 1980, 1980, and 1982, respectively.

Sosnowski won re-election in District 37 and was unopposed in the Democratic primary on September 11. John F. Lindholm was unopposed in the Republican primary. Sosnowski defeated Lindholm in the general election which took place on November 6, 2012.[1]
