Valerie Vainieri Huttle (b. September 15, 1956) is a Democratic member of the New Jersey General Assembly, representing District 37. She was first elected to the chamber in 2005.

Biography

Huttle earned her B.A. in English from Fairleigh Dickinson University. Huttle was a member of the Bergen County Board of Freeholders from 2001-2007, and is currently President/Funeral Director of the Vainieri Funeral Home.[1]

Huttle ran in the 2013 election for New Jersey General Assembly District 37. Huttle is bracketed with Gordon Johnson. She was unopposed in the June 4 Democratic primary. She is challenged by Stephanie Shellenberger (R), Gino Tessaro (R), and Gordon Johnson (D) in the general election which takes place on November 5, 2013.[4] [5]

Huttle won re-election in 2011. She and incumbent Gordon Johnson ran unopposed in the June 7 Democratic primary. They then defeated Keith Jensen, Gregory Aslanian, and Julian Heicklen in the November 8 general election.[6]
