Valley Township Road Levy Increase Proposal (November 2012)
If approved, this proposal authorizes the Township of Valley to increase property taxes by 2 mills ($2 per $1,000 of assessed valuation) for three years in order to fund road improvements. The estimated first year revenue from this tax is $134,243.29.

|“||Shall the tax limitation on general ad valorem taxes within Valley Township imposed under Article IX, Sec. 6 of the Michigan Constitution be increased for said township by two mills ($2 PER $1,000 of taxable value) and levy it for four years, 2013 through 2016 inclusive, for township road improvements, which 2-mills increase will raise an estimated $134,243.29 in the first year the millage is levied?||”|
