A Van Buren Township Police & Fire Levy Renewal measure was on the November 8, 2011 ballot in the township of Van Buren which is in Wayne County.

This measure was approved

  • YES 2,014 (68.9%)Approveda
  • NO 909 (31.1%)[1]

This measure sought to renew the current police and fire levy which is set at a rate of $4 per $1,000 of assessed property value for a period of five years in order to continue to pay for police and fire protection service costs in the township.[2]
