The question on the ballot:

The Board of Directors of Vashon Island School District No. 402 approved a proposition for capital project levies in Resolution No. 675. This proposition would fund renovations, improvements, and preventative maintenance of equipment and facilities and provides for instructional technology upgrades, and authorizes the following excess taxes, in place of an expiring levy, on all taxable property within the District: Collection Years: 2013-2016; Approximate Levy Rate/$1,000 Assessed Value: $.39; Levy Amount: $900,000. Should this proposition be approved?[3]
