Virgil Smith is a Republican member of the Michigan State Senate, representing District 4 since January 1, 2011. He is currently serving as State Senate Assistant Minority Whip.

Elections

2010

Smith won election to the 4th District of the Michigan State Senate in 2010. He defeated Republican Frederick Robinson II, Libertarian Raymond Warner, and Independent D. Wilcoxon in the November 2 general election.[1]
