Vivek Bavda was a 2012 Democratic candidate seeking election to the U.S. House representing the 10th Congressional District of Illinois. Bavda was defeated by Brad Schneider in the Democratic primary on March 20, 2012.[1]

Biography

Bavda was born in Columbus, Ohio. [2] Bavda attended Winkleman Elementary School in Glenview, Illinois. In 1987, the Bavda family moved to Mundelein where he enrolled at Hawthorn schools and Libertyville High School. [2] Bavda attended Northwestern University, receiving a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Economics. [2] He holds a J.D. from The John Marshall Law School. [2]

Career

Bavda is currently an attorney with a general private law practice. [2]
