Morgan ran in the 2012 election for the U.S. House, representing New York's 9th District. She sought the nomination on the Green Party ticket and was unopposed in the June 26th 2012 primary. She faced incumbent Yvette Clarke (D) and Daniel Cavanagh (R) in general election on November 6, 2012.[2] Clarke won.[1]
