Walter Blevins (b. March 29, 1950) is a Democratic member of the Kentucky State Senate, representing District 27. He was first elected to the chamber in 1992. He served as President Pro Tempore from 1997 to 1998. He served in the Kentucky House of Representatives from 1982 to 1992.

Blevins earned his B.S. from Morehead State University in 1972 and his D.M.D. from the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry in 1976. His professional experience includes working as a dentist. He served as a Captain in the United States Army from 1976 to 1978.
