Walter Wheeler, Sr. (b. November 13, 1925) is a Democratic member of the Maine House of Representatives. He represented the 151st District from 2002-2010. In 2010, Wheeler was ineligible to run under Maine's term limits.

Wheeler is retired. He worked in the Kittery Navy Yard and served in the United States Navy.

Wheeler is a member of the Kittery Democrats, Knights Templar, Machinist Union, Maine Council of Senior Citizens, Masons Royal Arch Chapter, Shriners, Sportsman’s Alliance of Maine, Southern Maine Fish and Game Club, Veterans of Foreign Wars, and the York County Democrats.[1]
