Warren Kitzmiller (b. March 21, 1943) is a Democratic member of the Vermont House of Representatives, representing Washington-4. He was first elected to the chamber in 2000. He previously represented Washington-5 from 2001 to 2013.

Biography

Kitzmiller received his diploma from Academy High School in 1961. He then attended the University of Michigan from 1961 to 1962. He also attended Gannon University from 1962 to 1965. In 1965, he attended the University of Denver as well.

Kitzmiller worked in the Mount Snow Ski Area from 1967 to 1970. He then worked as a Clerk for the Village Ski Shop from 1970 to 1972, and for Shaw's General Store from 1970 to 1974. From 1974 to 2000, he was the owner of Onion River Sports. Kitzmiller also served as a Justice of the Peace for the Montpelier Board of Civil Authority from 1990 to 2000.

Kitzmiller was an Alderman on the Montpelier City Council from 1978 to 1980.

Kitzmiller won re-election in the 2012 election for Vermont House of Representatives Washington 4. Kitzmiller was unopposed in the August 28 Democratic primary and won re-election in the general election which took place on November 6, 2012.[1][2]
