The 1st congressional district of Washington will hold a special election for the U.S. House of Representatives on November 6, 2012. The election is to fill the vacancy left by the resignation of Representative Jay Inslee (D). The primary election is scheduled for August 7, 2012, and the general election will be held on November 6, 2012.[1]
