Washington 2012 ballot measures

- The petition drive deadline for proposed citizen initiatives is July 6, 2012. A minimum of 241,153 valid petition signatures are required to qualify an Initiative to the People for the 2012 statewide ballot.
- 2012 state legislative session began on January 9, 2012 and is scheduled to end on March 8, 2012. Legislative referrals can be sent to the 2012 ballot during this time.
