Washington 2012 ballot measures

- The petition drive deadline for proposed citizen initiatives was July 6, 2012. A minimum of 241,153 valid petition signatures were required to qualify an Initiative to the People for the 2012 statewide ballot.
- Two measures filed signatures by the deadline; both made the ballot.
- The 2012 state legislative session began on January 9, 2012 and ended on March 8, 2012. Legislative referrals could have been sent to the 2012 ballot during this time.
