The Washington Initiative 582, also known as the "Authorization and Regulation of Internet Poker Initiative," is an Initiative to the Legislature in Washington that may appear on the general election ballot in November 4, 2014. The measure would authorize online poker and allow the Washington State Gambling Commission to license online poker rooms.[1][2]


Poker pro player Curtin Woodard is sponsoring both this measure and Initiative 583.[2]

In order to qualify for the November ballot, supporters are required to submit a minimum of 246,372 valid signatures by July 2014.
